HP ProBook 4540s Core I3 15.6-inch Laptop FOR PARTS £10 PER PART

Now this one has an interesting history. It was sold to me barely used. It couldn't turn on reliably because of what I think was the dc power port. It did sometimes turn on however, when I pushed the port in harder. I ordered a replacement, included in this listing, and it had the exact same issue. So either this model was flawed right out of the factory, or something else is the problem. Either way as I continued investigating it stopped turning on. Maybe I forgot to attach some cable. Maybe I shorted the motherboard. Not sure. Anyways, I gave up on trying to fix it. So I am selling it for parts.

Now most of these parts probably work, but I couldn't really test them properly because the laptop doesn't turn on reliably. I know the screen turned on a couple of times. Didn't seem to have defects. I think the keyboard and trackpad works too. Maybe I damaged the replacement dc port during handling aswell although the led does show. The battery also might be dead. So I am selling them as partially untested so no returns.
